House Education Committee
Meeting to Consider HB 2560
November 13, 2002

The House Education Committee has officially rescheduled House Bill 2560 for consideration on November 13. The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM in Room 205 of the Matthew J. Ryan Legislative Office Building , within the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg. Although the meeting room is small, with seating for only 35-45 people, it is important that as many as possible be there dressed in RED . The legislators need to be reminded of the RED SEA of support for HB 2560 one last time before they cast their vote. An overflow crowd would be a great way to let them know that we are standing firm! Here is a link to maps and parking .

IMPORTANT NOTE: New security measures have recently been implemented throughout the Capitol Complex. Please read the security tips if you are planning to attend. In addition, please note that visitor entrances are now limited, which may result in delays entering the building. We suggest you arrive by 9:00 AM - or 8:30 AM for the hearty souls who would like to volunteer as the welcoming party.

UPDATED 11/12/02: Because we expect more RED SEA lobbyists to attend than the meeting room will accommodate, we have reserved about 100 seats in Section B outside the Cafeteria (Capitol East Wing) from 9:00-11:30 AM tomorrow. It is our understanding that the meeting will conclude by 11:00 since the Representatives are scheduled to be on the House floor at this time. We plan to notify those waiting in Section B of the outcome immediately following the meeting.
