Performance vs. Regulations

Money Saved by PDE

These charts clearly show that the strong performance of home educated students across the US is independent of the regulations that are in effect in each state! Burdensome regulations DO NOT improve education, and HB 2560 will remove these burdens for PA home educators as well as save taxpayers money.

Dr. Howard Richman, founder of
Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency (PHAA), truncated the data on this graph in order to support his contention that homeschoolers continue homeschooling in PA longer than in other states because of diploma programs. See for yourself what the truth is! Then let your legislators know if Dr. Richman does NOT represent your home education program!

"Howard, would you like to explain how you purposefully truncated data to try to prove your point? Data manipulation is not ethical and invalidates your comments. We told you that this was inappropriate in Dec. 2001. Why are you still propagating these lies?"
