"Our ways of learning about the world are strongly influenced
by the social preconceptions and biased modes of thinking that each
scientist must apply to any problem. The stereotype of a fully rational
and objective 'scientific method,' with individual scientists as logical
(and interchangeable) robots is self serving mythology."
Stephen Jay Gould...Atheist
One objection which seems to cast an obvious shadow on the "certainty" of evolution, is the fact that a number of scientists (some even non-christian) differ in their opinions concerning various processes and theories within the evolutionary framework, while others reject the possibility of an evolutionary system altogether. These are scientists who have graduated from some of the same colleges and universities as their atheistic peers, earning similar degrees, many having received honors, yet who disagree with the atheistic view of the origins of the universe, man, etc.The truth is, the evidence needed to make solid conclusions and bring harmony between all just simply is not there (or is it?), and much of what does appear at first to be evidence in favor of evolution, quite often has an alternate explanation that cannot be proven to be either illogical or erroneous. If you were to ask any credible scientist if gravity really exists, the answer would be, "Yes." Why?...It can be proven by scientific methods. But this is certainly not true of evolution as a complete system, or even of many of the conjectured mechanisms which are necessary for it to work. The fact is, no element of atheistic evolution can ever be proven to be true. Science is defined, at least by Sir Francis Bacon who is considered to be the founder of the scientific method, as follows:
observation > induction > hypothesis > test hypothesis by experiment > proof or disproof > knowledge.
It is at the underlined portions of this definition where the possibility of proving any atheistic view certainly becomes impossible (which makes the other steps impossible as well). This is because the atheistic view believes that the whole of "Creation" came about through random processes absent of any intelligent direction (God). It is therefore impossible to recreate this in the "laboratory" since providing the exact environment in which these processes supposedly took place would be a large part (if not complete) speculation, and furthermore, the whole attempt would indeed be directed by an "intelligent" source (scientists). Therefore, even if some facet of evolution could be proven to be true, it still would be impossible for anyone to prove that it was not governed by a supreme being (God).
In reality, to preach that there is no God while embracing evolution with it's loose ends and many enigmas results in nothing more than a religion defined by the individual's personal belief. It is a faith that Creation somehow brought itself into existence, regardless of the fact that even atheistic scientists have calculated this possibility to be so infinitely small, that it is inconceivable according to Borel's single law of chance. The atheist's logic (faith?) then, actually finds it's footing on the shaky grounds of assumption...the vain assumption that God does not exist...which itself is based on the fact that the individual doesn't know God: "God can't be real because He hasn't revealed Himself to me!" This position is obviously self-centered and, according to scripture, is the very reason the person does not, and can not, know God to begin with (Isaiah 66:1,2).
So if this is the atheist's logic, that God cannot exist because they have not personally experienced Him, which then leaves them with the option that the universe and all it contains came into existence by mere chance (against astronomical odds), then I certainly do not feel foolish about expressing what I believe to be logical. Perhaps the atheist feels that he has not personally witnessed God, but neither has he ever witnessed anything in life that does not happen for a reason (which is what "science" is supposed to be based on). Therefore, I believe that in the end, we will find that all which has been discovered or proven through science was only made possible because of the natural laws that God ordained long before the first "scientist" even existed (Psalms 8:3,4). And, that those who profess to be wise in their theories which reject God will come to discover that, apart from God, there is no wisdom and find themselves and their theories rejected by Him (Romans 1:21,22; Isaiah 2:10-12). The condemning question that they may be forever left to ponder could be as simple as, "What evidence did you ever possess which would cause you to believe that something could come from nothing?"
If you are reading this and happen to be one of those persons who conclude that God does not exist based on a lack of personal experience and, while reckoning the intellectual finitude of the human mind, believe that you can disprove the existence of One who is omnipotent, omnicient, omnipresent, and is spirit, then He will always remain just beyond the reach of your telescope, invisible under your microscope, and inconceivable to your mind (Proverbs 1:28-31). Your hypothesis that He doesn't exist will remain in error while all along the evidence of His existence is not only proven by the creation which encompasses you (Romans 1:20), but also by the specimen which you examine day after day in the mirror (Psalms 139:13-16). Could it be, so to speak, that you cannot see the forest for the trees? Or perhaps the truth is, that you are just one of many "trees" in His vast forest...sown by His sovereign hand. Your life takes root in the soil of His creativity and though you have no knowledge of your Creator (Romans 3:10,11), He has complete knowledge of you; you are the DNA that is forever under His sovereign scrutiny (Psalms 139:1-6).

Scripture
Psalms 19:1-4
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech, and
night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers,
The moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained;
What is man, that Thou dost take thought of him?
And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him?
O LORD, Thou hast searched me and known me.
Thou dost know when I sit down and when I rise up;
Thou dost understand my thought from afar.
Thou dost scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And art intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold,
O LORD, Thou dost know it all.
For Thou didst form my inward parts;
Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from Thee,When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Thy book they were all written,
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.
Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me,
Because they hated knowledge,
And did not choose the fear of the LORD.
They would not accept my counsel,
They spurned all my reproof.
So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way,
And be satiated with their own devices.
One Definition of religion as defined by Microsoft Bookshelf 99 is:A cause, a principle, or an activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.
An example of this is found in the remarks of evolutionary biologist, Richard Lewontin:
"We take the side of science in spite of the patent absurdity of some of its constructs...in spite of the tolerance of the scientific community for unsubstanciated just-so stories, because we have a prior commitment, a commitment to materialism. It is not that the methods and institutions of science somehow compel us to accept a material explanation of the phenominal world, but, on the contrary, that we are forced by our a priori adherence to material causes to create an apparatus of investigation and a set of concepts that produce material explanations, no matter how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an absolute, for we cannot allow a divine foot in the door."

According to Randy L. Wysong, D.V.M.:
"Evolution requires plenty of faith: a faith in L-proteins [lefthanded molecules] that defy chance formation; a faith in the formation of DNA codes which if generated spontaneously would spell only pandemonium; a faith in a primitive environment that in reality would fiendishly devour any chemical precursors to life; a faith in experiments [on the origin of life] that prove nothing but the need for intelligence in the beginning; a faith in a primitive ocean that would not thicken but would only hopelessly dilute chemicals; a faith in natural laws including the laws of thermodynamics and biogenesis that actually deny the possibility for the spontaneous generation of life; a faith in future scientific revelatons that when realized always seem to present more dilemmas to the evolutionists; faith in probabilities that treasonously tell two stories - one denying evolution, the other confirming the creator; faith in transformations that remain fixed; faith in mutations and natural selection that add to a double negative for evolution; faith in the fossils that embarrassingly show fixity through time, [and] regular absence of transitional forms;...a faith in time which proves only to promote degradation in the absence of mind; and faith in reductionism that ends up reducing the materialist arguments to zero and enforcing the need to invoke a supernatural creator."
The evolutionary religion is consistently inconsistent. Scientist rely on the rational order of the universe to make accomplishments, yet the evolutionist tells us the rational universe had an irrational beginning from nothing. Due to lack of understanding about mechanisms and structure, science cannot even create a simple twig. Yet the evolutionary religion speaks with bold dogmatism about the origin of life."This "faith" is demonstrated in the remarks of Dr. George Wald, Nobel prize-winning biologist of Harvard University:
"One only has to contemplate the magnitude of this task to concede that the spontaneous generation of a living organism is impossible. Yet here we are - as a result, I believe, of spontaneous generation."
back
Thus says the LORD,
Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool.
Where then is a house you could build for Me?
And where is a place that I may rest?
For My hand made all these things,
Thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD.
But to this one I will look, To him who is
humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.
As it is written,
There is none righteous, not even one;
There is none who understands,
There is none who seeks for God.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes,
His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen,
being understood through what has been made,
so that they are without excuse.
For even though they knew God,
they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks;
but they became futile in their speculations,
and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing to be wise, they became fools.Isaiah 2:10-12
Enter the rock and hide in the dust
From the terror of the LORD
and from the splendor of His majesty.
The proud look of man will be abased,
And the loftiness of man will be humbled,
And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.For the LORD of hosts will have a day of reckoning
Against everyone who is proud and lofty,
And against everyone who is lifted up,
That he may be abased.
