God's Word

It  is truly awesome to see the scientific discoveries that are being made which refute the beliefs of so many who deny that there is a God.  Some of these discoveries involve a deeper understanding of DNA.

Basically, DNA is like a blueprint within a cell which assures that living organisms will reproduce after their own kind.  What science has discovered is that different organisms have different DNA and more recent studies have shown that the information within the existing DNA is never added to (1).  This, of course, would be necessary for one kind of creature (a monkey) to evolve into another kind (a human).  In other words, a fish has a fish code, a dog has a dog code, a monkey has a monkey code, etc.  Each species will therefore reproduce after it's own kind and not into something different.

When changes do occur in the DNA it is by way of mutations, which do not add new information to the genetic code, but instead, takes information away from it.  These changes are very rare and usually produce injurous, even fatal, results.  In fact, it is believed that mutations are harmful 99.9% of the time (2).

Amazingly, God has already told us in His Word (Genesis 1:11-27) what science has discovered through DNA research.  Real science does not disagree with the Bible...it supports it!

God’s Word, The Bible

 There are those who critique the Bible,
Without spiritual ability,
Who say God’s word is filled
With many discrepancies.

There are others gifted by God
Who shed light on distorted views,
Showing that in proper context,
 All discrepancies are removed.

Still, the message of the Bible,
Is foreign to the natural man;
It’s only through the Spirit’s enlightening
That a person can understand.

To most who read the Bible,
It’s a good book at best;
But to those who know and seek the Lord
It’s a bottomless treasure chest.

Though It’s origin is in the East,
It has continued to spread worldwide;
And the evidence that It’s changing lives
Is unable to be denied.

It’s been proven historically accurate
Through uncovered archaeology;
Shown to have an Omniscient author
Through fulfilled prophecies.

Now science is finding, as it progresses,
God-less theories to be absurd;
Yes, even science must bow it’s knee
To the accuracy of God’s Word.

“The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.”
