"To get to God" say some,
"Take the path that’s right for you.
As long as you follow it faithfully,
Any path will do."

At first with this concept,
I radically disagreed,
But having my senses "enlightened,"
It’s truth I began to see…

Before the throne of God,
Surely Jesus will meet His own;
While those who followed others,
Will also stand before God's Throne.

The ones that are “His own,”
Are those who in Him believed;
Having entrusted their lives to Him,
His mercy they’ll receive.

But those who "followed" other gods
or traveled their own path;
Will meet a God of judgement,
And receive His fierce wrath.

The books opened...their deeds exposed...
No acquittal from God's Son,
They’ll receive eternal punishment
For "none are righteous, no not one."

So, all paths do lead to God;
Even the one you’re on.
But, is it the one that leads to His mercy?
Or...
"Dead Ends" at the Great White Throne?
