THE BOOK
  OF TIME
If we turned back the pages of time
To a time before time began,
We then would find the Creator of time,
The awesome God we can’t comprehend.

If all evidence of this universe,
From time’s pages could be erased,
We would perceive, I firmly believe,
    The awesome God consuming all space…

Yet, how complacent we are, His creation,
Feeble souls in a weak, mortal purse;
When The Almighty God cannot be contained
Within even the whole universe.

The very thought of His infinite power,
Should drop us each to our face;
Eternal death is the fate all would await,
If it wasn’t for His loving grace.

Yet so many still reject Him,
To seek their own pleasure and fame;
Their souls they sell to eternally dwell,
Not in fame’s hall, but in Hell’s flame!

So if your heart’s not given to Jesus,
Don’t waste another minute, my friend;
The pages of time continue to turn,
As the book draws near to - The End.

 "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief,
in which the heavens will pass away with a roar
and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat,
and the earth and its works will be burned up."
2 Peter 3:10 (NASB)
