Many people trying to show
The depths of their minds,
through atheistic theory
Leave common sense behind.
To say there is no God
Is to deny a basic rule,
That most of us were taught
In our first years of school.
I was taught in just first grade
The simple arithmetic,
When you add nothing to nothing,
Nothing is what you get.
To say there is no God
Is to make the foolish claim,
As you trace back evolution,
That from nothing is where we came.
A challenge I’d like to make
To atheistic scientists,
Is to take some of nothing,
and make something exist.
Anyone who’ll take this challenge
Has my applause,
and a large donation of nothing
To help support this cause.
Though this donation is useless
now
and may seem facetious at first,
In a billion years it just might
be
An opulent universe.
"For since the
creation of the world His invisible
attributes,
His eternal power and divine nature, have
been clearly seen,
being understood through what
has been made,
so that they are without excuse."
Romans 1:20
