I married the wrong person! God intended Marriage to be a picture of His faithfulness. If a person can be married to the wrong person, than it would be possible for God to save the wrong person. It also opens the door for a person to loose their salvation.
Or can you imagine a person saying "God, I know I gave you my life in 1987, but I made a mistake, I was under alot of pressure then, Can I have my life back?" No! If you want your life back, you still have! I would have more respect for you if you call yourself an infidel, rather than say God could not keep you eternally secure. If ever a day came when I though I lost my salvation, I would confess to God that I was illigitimate all the time. That is what the Bible teaches.
You see how foolish the statement "I married the wrong person" is. Unfortunately many Christians have a kindergarden understanding of the Bible. When your source of authority is yourself and not the Bible, you are still in kindergarden. Lets look at a Bible verse.
Is Holy Jesus going to divorce his church. The Bible says, may it never be!
