Satan said - I bid riches, I bid honor, I bid fame, I bid pleasure, thats my bid.
Roland Hill said - Do I hear another bid? Yes! I hear another bid. Its the bid of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, dear Lord Jesus, what is your bid?
Jesus said - I bid eternal life.
And turning to Lady Anne Urshkin he said, I have 2 bids and you have heard both bids, which one do you accept. And Lady Anne Urshkin fell on her knees and cried "I'll take Jesus, I've tried in vain a thousand ways my fears to quell my hopes to raise and all I need the Bible says is Jesus."
